The scrub and the science of coffee.

Coffee beans primarily have an exfoliating function, allowing for the natural elimination of dead cells in the upper layers of the epidermis. Through gentle massage, they break down accumulated fat deposits and detoxify. The exfoliating function thus described allows for a real deep firming of the epidermis.

A scrub or mechanical exfoliant is generally a product that contains a base ingredient such as coffee beans, sugar, salt, vegetable seeds, crushed seeds or fruit pits to eliminate dead cells on the surface of the skin. It allows for smoothing of tissues, better cell renewal and absorption of oil or moisturizer with more performance.Ce 100% natural and extremely gentle peeling allows for remodeling cellulaire.Cela leads to a reorganization of the upper layers of the epidermis and a better quality of collagen production. A reorganization of elastin (more horizontal fibers) can also be brought into playvidence.Ces techniques have been used since Antiquity in rejuvenation protocols.
Exfoliation can be done throughout the year but is even more recommended in summer. This is useful for tanning because it lifts the skin and gives it more radiance. Regarding hair removal, it prepares the skin by removing stubborn hairs. The fineness of the grains depends on the use (frequency, area of the body, period). The movement associated with the scrub during skin application must also depend on the fineness of the grain. A circular movement is preferable to reproduce the movement of blood circulation. The quantity of scrubbing particles can be increased for the roughest areas (elbows, heels). On the buttocks and thighs where you want to remove cellulite, the circular movements must be wider and longer.
To protect the skin, after exfoliation, a moisturizing lotion or oil should be applied. Exfoliation is usually done before a mask.
Coffee on the skin, a science

Coffee has extraordinary virtues. Applying it to the skin activates microcirculation. Indeed, it contains active molecules called caffeine. Caffeine is widely used in cosmetics for its high biological activity and its ability to penetrate the tissue barrier.
It is an alkaloid frequently used in models of penetration of hydrophilic substance through the skin and diffusion.Les Topical cosmetic formulations generally contain 3% caffeine. This active compound has anti-cellulite properties by preventing excessive fat accumulation in the cellules.LThe alkaloid stimulates the breakdown of fats during lipolysis thanks to Inhibition of phosphodiesterase activity. Caffeine has antioxidant properties and fights free radicals. It protects cells from UV radiation and slows down the photoaging process of the skin. Caffeine increases microcirculation of blood in the skin and collagen production.
Mechanism of action of caffeine in reducing the size of adipocytes (fat cells)
Coffee is also rich in vitamins and minerals which provide beneficial properties to cell tissues for proper growth.
