Daily well-being routine

Taking care of yourself every day is important! And yet many of us set these precious little daily rituals aside, often because of a lack of time. But it doesn’t take much effort; just add a few simple actions each day, and they’ll become a habit well-being. Discover our tips for a daily wellness routine?
1. Drink water and eat healthily
Physical and mental well-being first and foremost comes from habits learned in childhood! “Eat five fruits and vegetables a day,” while limiting overly sugary or refined products, and you’ll see a big improvement in your fatigue. Avoid ready-made meals and take the time to cook healthy little home-cooked dishes. Aim for a plate made up of a quarter protein, a quarter carbohydrates, and half fruits and vegetables. And most importantly, stay hydrated every day, because water is the best ally of a healthy body.
2. Do physical activity for physical and mental well-being
Physical activity is very important for body and mind. It’s always good to take a brisk walk every day and add a sport you enjoy to your weekly schedule. No time to exercise? You can still find solutions: walk or cycle to work, take the stairs instead of the elevator… It’s recommended to aim for around 8,000 steps a day, so get moving!
3. Take care of your body with a bath ritual
Taking care of your body and pampering yourself are the first things to do when looking after yourself. A bath, for example, can become a true ritual that helps you access well-being. To fully enjoy this bath ritual, you can add some soothing bath salts, a few candles, and use our Irrévérence Bath Ritual Set, which will leave your hair and body feeling soft. The two products it contains are made with Aloe vera, coffee extracts, and rosemary leaves to nourish and soften your skin. Once you have everything you need, you can run the bath water and set aside a few peaceful hours to relax.
4. Sleep long enough for well-being
It’s no secret: to be in good health, you need enough sleep and good sleeping conditions, because the quality of your sleep has a direct impact on your well-being. In that case, follow each sleep cycle by going to bed and, if you can, waking up at the same time to maintain a regular sleep rhythm. If you have insomnia, avoid using screens in the evening and change the habits that keep you from sleeping properly.
5. Take care of your mind and mental health
To maintain a positive mindset, you need to work on it by, for example, repeating positive affirmations, keeping a journal to write down your feelings every day, meditating, listening to music,… But most importantly, schedule time off so you don’t overload your mind with work. These small moments of letting go will be valuable, helping you take breaks and thus be more productive in your work when it needs to get done. You need to find that balance between personal and professional life.
6. Do a digital detox
Reducing anxiety and stress, does that sound appealing? Then adopt a digital detox. By disconnecting from screens from time to time, you’ll increase social interaction and appreciate the present moment more. Disconnecting from screens is especially recommended in the evening before going to sleep; instead, choose a good book to browse through… But also during vacations, and why not try a full day or even a whole week without your phone and computer?
As you can see, a wellness routine works on both body and mind, so it’s very important for combating fatigue, stress, and anxiety, for example. The key is to pamper yourself and treat yourself.
